In the not so faraway land of South Philadelphia Augustus "Gus" Boyd got his start working as an installer for his father's floor covering business. Literally learning from the ground up, he got a first hand look at what it took to run a business from both his mother and father.

Fast forward through marriage, the army, and a few children..Gus and Anne went out on their own, converting their garage into a workroom and office. Through friends and family in and out of the industry new skills were learned and they expanded into custom made draperies, shades, and blinds.

Truely a family owned and operated business even their children learned how to help out.

In 1975 they moved into the shop we have today. With a showroom full of samples, designs, and

friendly family service we're here to help with your residential or commercial window treatment needs.

Will someone help me select products that will suit my windows? We're here to help as much or as little as you like. Feel free to stop in our showroom to discuss your options or just browse on your own. In home estimates are also offered so the customer can see the materials and colors in their own home. Remember you are the customer and it is your home; the final decision is yours.


Custom sounds pricey, are they very expensive? Custom window treatments are designed specifically to meet your window dimensions and style, and are made to last for years. Our customers can choose from our wide array of materials and select any treatment or create your own, all of this can be done for just about any budget. Typically our customers keep their treatments for 10+ years, sometimes they change their design styles after just 5 either way our treatments are made to last. Custom window treatments can appear to be a little more expensive at the point of sale but divide that by say 10 and see if you'd be willing to pay that per year to have treatments you help design or select that were professionally manufactured and installed....most of the time you will.


How long do custom window treatments take? Depending on the type of treatment and availablity of material custom window treatments range from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. We manufacture window shades and vertical blinds on site so the turn over time can be even quicker.
